So as I purged and went thru some archived documents and pictures during the move to the U.C. I stumbled upon some old photographs that I had forgotten I had. Needless to say, it’s been a long time since schools been out…..huh boys?

Birthday Tattoo….

As I ended my first year into my “maturing” 30′s, I celebrated and benchmarked the occasion by getting an overdue and long in-design tattoo on the inside bicep of my right arm. The design is a JB original, but the needlework was done Daniel Santoro of New York Adorned on 2^nd Ave. Have to admit, as it got closer to the armpit it stung more and more. Very satisfied with the work on the fine lines and I can definitely see myself adding to the design for other occasions or benchmarks. Perhaps I’ll end up with a full half sleeve, well see…..t.b.d.

Went to the TAP New York Craft Beer Festival at Hunter Mountain in NY to sample some of the NY’s best craft beers. There were easily over 50 different Breweries and each had at least three types of beers. That plus the various types of snacks and foods that complement beers (like sausages and sea food jerky), great weather and mountainous scenery equaled a fine Sunday afternoon.

I must say personal favorite was the Cherry Raspberry Ale by Brown’s Brewing Company from Troy, NY. I’ve tried purchasing it around here, but they mainly distribute around the Albany area. If you are ever in the area pick yourself up a case or two….Cheers!

Drove to Coplay, Pennsylvania with The Wileys to so some clay shooting a couple of weekends ago, my first. Ended up at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays, about 1-1/2 from us. Something definitely manly about two guys shooting stuff in the winter cold…….Pull!!

New pad at The Threads…

As some of you know I recently moved to a new place in Union City last month, The Threads. A quaint little new construction one bedroom under 800 Sq.Ft. on the 6th Floor. I have to say it’s been really good so far, turned out to be the perfect location, size and style of living I needed. For those of you who have not visited yet (you know who you are), as requested I finally posted photos of the new pad…enjoy.

So it’s been back to back weekends of life marking events and celebrations…Wiley turning the big 30….and Milie turning the big 21. Both celebrations did not go without a proper celebration….two days of a little Atlantic City action to ring in the 30′s and a night of drinking at SideBar complete with Hummer limo, for the big 21. Happy B-day boys…..

Just arrived and ready to begin the festivities, nothing was recorded after this….What happens in AC, stays in….

The way most 21st birhtdays end…..near or in a toilet, like a champ.

Had the Notorious B.I.J with me for two weeks….I got to learn a lot about the new neighborhood because of our evening walks. She is still and indisputably the best and laziest dog ever.

So this year , like every other year Christmas was at parents home. The holiday this year was once again not short of good company, food and festivities.

This year was the first time we added Deep Fried Turkey to the menu and I must say that the anticipation to complete the mission of cooking it without burning down the kitchen was as rewarding as the end dish. Hightly recomended, this will not be last of the fried turkey for us.
